Why Engineering: Since childhood, I’ve been captivated by understanding the inner workings of the world around me. My fascination with systems and software stems from a desire to comprehend the bigger picture and the thrill of transforming old elements into something innovative. This passion led me to pursue software engineering, drawn by the prospect of crafting websites and apps and realizing my creative visions through innovative technologies.
Favorite ISU Memory: One of my most cherished ISU memories is attending the National Society of Black Engineers conference in 2023 and 2024. During these events, I had the honor of representing my chapter as a senator and later as a parliamentarian.
Something Unique About Me: I take pleasure in the art of cooking and find great joy in sharing delicious food with friends and family, creating memorable experiences through the dishes I prepare.
Words of Wisdom: Do not forget to care for yourself mentally and physically. Learn from the negative and embrace growth. Nothing changes if nothing changes. Intention is everything, but perspective is key.
