Why Engineering: Engineering has the potential to improve the quality of life for people around the world. Every advancement can be life-changing and benefit humanity. Wanting to play a part in that and my early fascination with space and rocketry made aerospace engineering a natural choice for my field of study.
Favorite ISU Memory: During my second year, there was a rocket club drop test that the sub team I was a part of was a little behind on preparing for. We pulled a near all-nighter setting up everything that needed to be done, and despite it being insanely stressful at the time, it is still one of my favorite memories.
Something Unique About Me: I have lived in 13 different cities across four countries on three continents which let me live in different cultures and learn new languages before I even started college.
Words of Wisdom: Live in the moment and don’t get into your head if it seems like people are doing better than you. Go at your own pace and know that you are here because you can do it. Before you know it, you will be graduating and entering the next phase of your life.
