Andrew Gohr
Major(s): Mechanical Engineering
Hometown: Highlands Ranch, Colorado
Activities and Involvements: I love going to ISU Football & Basketball games as well as on-campus entertainment like Criss Angel and Ron White.
Internships, Co-ops, and Research:
Sophomore: Winnebago Industries as Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op.
Junior: Danfoss Power Solutions as a Process Engineer Intern.
Why Engineering: I chose engineering because it was a challenging major that helped me understand the scientific principles that govern the world we live in.
Favorite ISU Memory: Picking my favorite memory would be like a parent choosing a favorite child. I loved tailgating and going to games with friends & family. I also loved the dinners in campus town.
Something Unique About Me: I love watches, especially automatics and unique complications.
Words of Wisdom: If you like the thought of being an engineer do not give up. Even if you fail classes or start to doubt yourself do not give up. Buckle down, work harder, ask for help and make it happen. Everyone doubts themselves during the program, but this doubt is overcome by a tough mind.
