Why Engineering: I chose engineering for a few reasons, like the broad job selection or the ability to solve the world’s problems and to have the chance to help make the world a better place with whatever field of chemical engineering I go into.
Favorite ISU Memory: Attending the National Society of black engineers conference 2023. This time is my favorite memory because it was when I got my first internship.
Something Unique About Me: I am learning how to cook. I love the process of making something from scratch and turning it into something delicious and beautiful.
Words of Wisdom (for current and future engineering scholars): Don’t be afraid to talk to your professors about anything confusing you because they want to do everything they can to help you understand.
