General Questions
- Youth Consent & Release Forms: How will coaches know which team members have completed the online Iowa State University Youth Consent & Release Form?
- Coaches will be emailed every other week with the list of which team members have completed the online form
- If you’d like an update in between weeks, please email iowascioly@iastate.edu
- Build & Hybrid Events: When will teams sign up for time slots for the Build & Hybrid Events?
- The head coach will receive an email on Friday, 3/21, at 4:00 PM to sign up for time slots for all the build and hybrid events
- Head coaches will receive an email with the username and password prior to 4:00 PM, however, the system will not be available until 4:00 PM
- The sign-up is first-come, first-serve based on the time blocks on the website
- Optics Testing (Div. B & C): Clarify the Optics Testing as it is scheduled for a different time than the event.
- Optics Testing will be open all day for teams from both divisions to test their devices
- Teams will need to sign up for a time slot, following the process explained above
- Note, some teams will have to test outside of the event time
Division B Only Questions

Division C Only Questions
- Material Science C Event: Will teams be allowed to split up – one person tests the puck and the other takes the written exam?
- The two team members are allowed to split up – one takes the written exam, while the other tests the puck
- Both the exam and puck testing must be completed in the 60 minute time frame allotted for the event, teams are free to decide how they split their time to complete both parts
