STEM Explorations is a series of evening camps for 2nd through 5th graders that take place each semester. These camps are designed to generate an interest in exploring science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) at a young age. Camps are held from 5pm-7pm and do not include drop-off or pick-up times.

WiSE Go Further is a program that encourages students in grade 8 through grade 10 to learn about the opportunities offered with STEM and its related fields. The students are given the opportunity to connect with STEM role models as well.
CyMath-Kids is a math program led by Iowa State University’s Dr. Namrata Vaswani and Dr. Xuan Hien Nguyen to give the kids the opportunity to experience and learn about mathematics and see the “beauty” in math.
A science and technology fair held every year for high school and middle school students to showcase the state of Iowa’s 4-H research groups. Youth have an opportunity to present to STEM professionals and researchers.

A 12-month immersive program for Iowa youth in grades 8-11 that focuses on college and career pathways. It strives to engage marginalized youth in research-based education and providing hands-on development training to prepare youth for long term success.

For over 100 years, Iowa 4-H Youth Development has been delivering research-based educational programs for K-12 youth in Iowa. Using the experiential model of “do, reflect, apply,” 4-H programs help young people explore life skills and potential college and career opportunities though research-based learning experiences in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Communication and the Arts, Healthy Living, Leadership and Civic Engagement, and STEM.
