My post-doctoral work was at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. My research focus has centered on socioscientific engagement — specifically how people engage with evidence and navigate trade-offs within multivariate issues.

What kind of classroom experience do you look forward to creating?
My approach to teaching is research-driven based on a fundamental understanding of how people learn and the ways specific teacher behaviors can promote desirable environments. Our students must think, and we must pair high yet reasonable expectations with high support to move students from where they academically are to where we want them to be.
