Information
Mike spent eight years in the private sector prior to joining CIRAS. He held a variety of roles in manufacturing, supply chain, quality and program management for domestic and international programs in the defense industry. He also spent 18 months in Australia leading supplier engineering and quality for suppliers throughout China and Europe in the small appliance industry. While at CIRAS, Mike has led programs in supply chain management, sustainability, innovation, and economic development.
Mike is the director of the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) program. He focuses his time on understanding the needs of Iowa manufacturers, identifying key future trends in manufacturing, and partnering with organizations across the state to improve Iowa manufacturing.
