I am interested in the numerical modeling of fluid dynamics and transport processes in biological systems. Current research interests include cerebrospinal fluid flow, transport, dispersion in the brain, flow in the gastrointestinal tract, gut transport, peristalsis, dynamics of the gut microbiome, biological reaction-advection-diffusion processes, the dynamics of bacteria in the presence of fluid flow, and fluid dynamics of autocatalytic reaction fronts.
