Messaging based on the National Academy of Engineering’s “Changing the Conversation,” has been adopted in engineering recruiting materials at Iowa State and DMACC.
The (Be Creative)2 campaign was introduced in 2009. Its lead piece was a recruiting brochure.
Various elements of the campaign have been used in the college’s messaging since then, primarily using the theme “Be > You Imagined”. Clockwise from top left: desktop wallpaper; a Twitter profile picture; department webpage button; and a college ad at cyclones.com, the university’s athletics website.
Resources and examples of how the messaging was used was shared with the National Academy of Engineering.
