The goal of the SEEC project was to increase the number of engineering graduates at Iowa State by 100 per year, to approximately 900 graduates annually. Included within this goal were increases in the percentages of women and minority graduates in engineering at Iowa State and the number of pre-engineering students at DMACC. The number of students and graduates has surpassed the goal and exceeded national enrollment and graduate numbers. The number of women and minority graduates continues to grow. Enrollment in DMACC’s EGR 100 also continues to increase, which will continue to boost transfer student enrollment at Iowa State. E-APP continues to foster retention success. The Enrollment & Degree Data illustrate these successes.
SEEC project activities and findings were disseminated through various publications, presentations, and events and are listed in the corresponding sections.
